How to make "Self-Improvement" Work Every Time!
By Bob Doyle
There is an inherent problem with the approach most people take to self-improvement of any kind. There is a presupposition that there is something wrong that needs fixing. Perhaps it is true that there are areas in their lives that they wish to change. However, the mindset with which they approach transformation will very often NEGATE any positive results they might have. Why? Because all of their focus is on the PROBLEM they are trying to solve, rather than their vision for what their life will be like on without the alleged problem.
There is a very basic physical natural law which ultimately determines ANY success on ANY level. This law dictates exactly what our experience will be from moment to moment. Best of all, this law is fully under our control at all times, even if we are not aware of it.
This "law" is the Law of Attraction. Most of the time, you hear about this law in terms of how it will help you to attract wealth or abundance in general. However, the Law of Attraction transcends just those basic desires. The Law of Attraction dictates that you will receive back exactly what you "vibrate"…that is, what you are FEELING. Where is your attention? Is it on the feelings associated with the problem, or with the feelings of no longer having the problem?
If you approach self-improvement material with the desire to "get rid of the problem", and if all your feelings are on how terrible or frustrating this "problem" is, Universal Law dictates that you will simply attract MORE of those feelings…more of the circumstances that brought the problem to you in the first place. The Universe isn’t "out
to get you". It is simply responding to the "request" that you are putting out by way of your feelings.
If, however, you approach your self-improvement solutions with high positive feelings associated with what your life WILL be…if you visualize your success with your program of choice on all sensory levels, particularly on the level of EMOTION, you will literally magnetically ATTRACT the success you are looking for! Miracles will occur!
While this may sound very "mystic" or even preposterous, I submit to you that EVERY aspect of your life right now has been brought to you in perfect response to your prevailing thoughts and beliefs which directly effect your emotional state, which in turn causes you to emit very specific and magnetic frequencies which attract like frequencies.
We must never forget that beyond simply being flesh and bone, we are, at a molecular level, ENERGY. And our personal energy obeys the same physical laws as all other Energy which we study more traditionally.
The wealthiest, most successful people in the world use the Law of Attraction (albeit often unconsciously) to effortlessly bring into their lives whatever they envision. This could be wealth, successful businesses, or satisfying relationships. Or, it could simply be wisdom, peace of mind, and a sense of purpose.
The big secret is that you truly CAN have whatever you want, regardless of how "pie-in-the-sky" this may sound. You need only learn a few key concepts about HOW to ask for what you want to begin receiving it in abundance! Despite what you may currently believe or have been taught, it is not the purpose of our lives to struggle, to work hard for years, or try to "figure things out". Our job is to do what we love to do. When we do that with full trust and knowing that doing so will naturally attract our deepest desires, we become powerful magnets, which absolutely assures our success.

Affirmations That Attract Prosperity
Written by Jerry on September 30, 2009 – 3:58 am -Affirmations That Attract Prosperity
Do you have a hard time focusing on prosperity? Do you find yourself struggling with negative thoughts that seem to attract more lack and difficulty into your life? Affirmations are a simple tool you can use to turn it around.
Affirmations work best by delivering repeated new messages to your subconscious mind. Most often, this involves replacing old, limiting messages with new, empowering messages.
However, be careful of the way you word your affirmations. This will determine how effective they really are.
If I asked you to recite this affirmation: “I am a millionaire,” how effective do you think it would be? Would you be a millionaire tomorrow? Would money start falling out of the sky to land in your lap? I don’t think so!
Why not? Simply because your mind knows the statement isn’t true. If you try to feed your subconscious mind a belief that you are a millionaire, it creates a conflict with your current set of beliefs. Your subconscious mind does not like conflict, and it doesn’t like change – so nothing in your life changes!
In order for affirmations to work, you MUST word them so that that your subconscious mind won’t reject them. In other words, make them believable.
Compare the above affirmation to one like this: “I am becoming more prosperous every day.”
That one actually feels better, right? Your mind doesn’t try to resist it because you can actually imagine it happening, even if it hasn’t begun to happen yet.
Another way to boost your affirmations is to word them in a way that places the responsibility on you. For example, instead of affirming, “I am becoming more prosperous every day,” you could say, “I am open to new and better ways to become more prosperous.” The wording makes you feel more in control of your circumstances.
Rather than waiting anxiously for money to fall out of the sky, you send a message to your subconscious mind that you can control how much money you have by being alert to great opportunities.
Affirmations can vary in the length of time required to “take root” in your mind. For the most part, it depends on the intensity of your opposing beliefs and the level of effort you put forth in turning those beliefs around.
If your focus on lack is very strong, you’ll probably have to spend a fair amount of energy and effort to train your mind to focus on prosperity. You may have to repeat affirmations hundreds or thousands of times over a few weeks or months.
However, it is time and effort well spent because the more you focus on positive thoughts and prosperous beliefs, the more you’ll find yourself attracting good things into your life. Then, the more you will focus on good things that are showing up in your life… It’s a great cycle to be caught up in.
Here are a few good affirmations to help get you started on the road to prosperity:
* I use my thoughts and emotions to attract abundance effortlessly.
* I am becoming more prosperous and successful every day.
* I am talented and resourceful.
* I find it easier and easier to reflect on new opportunities that have come into my life.
* When I think wealthy thoughts, I become more wealthy in all aspects of my life.
* I am now using my imagination to create new wealth for myself and for others.

How to STOP Being a Person that NOTHING Seems to Work For
Written by Jerry on August 22, 2009 – 12:17 am -Guest article
How to STOP Being a Person that NOTHING Seems to Work For -
by Bob Doyle
Do you ever wonder why great things happen to some people
but not to you?
Do you ever read about people who have tried this or that
product and had some incredible result, but when you try it,
you don’t get the same result?
Have you become a person who NOTHING seems to work for?
Maybe you’ve thought about trying the some new self-
improvement package that sounds great, , but you’re just so
tired of things not working for you.
Let’s take a look at how you’ve gotten where you are and why
these things might happen.
First, at some point, you tried something – either based on
a recommendation, a testimonial you read, or some other
reason. Basically, you tried it based on someone else’s
positive experience. However, when you tried it, you did not
get the same result so you made the assumption that it
didn’t work for you. But how true IS this? Often – VERY
often – things work differently for different people, and
it’s a mistake to judge your life by comparing it with
others. Perhaps you just needed more time. Maybe your
circumstances are completely different! Regardless, however,
you made up – you CREATED a Truth for yourself at that time,
that truth being "This didn’t work", although remember, that
truth is based only on your surface comparison with someone
else…and it really doesn’t have anything to do with you,
and what – in the cosmic scheme of things – is best for you.
Those results you read about for that other person are what
was right at that time for them, and that doesn’t
necessarily mean that NOW is the time for you and that it
will happen to you the same way that it happened for them!
From then on, every thing else you try is then compared to
that first experience, with the Truth in your mind being
"Well, it didn’t work that time…let’s see if THIS works".
So again you’re comparing…and not really trying anything
"purely" and on it’s own merit without preconceived notions
or judgements. You are already working against yourself! You
may not yet automatically expect failure, but you have it as
an option, and perhaps even a probability based on your
previous experiences.
The more things you try with this mindset, the more you
fortify this mindset – it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy
that "Nothing works for me". Before you know it, that is who
you Become. The person you are about reaching your specific
goals or trying this or that product or technology is "It
works for others but never for me." Once you reach that
place, it will most certainly become true for you.
So what do you do? How do you break out of this pattern?
First, acknowledge how you got here…by comparing yourself
or your results with other people who are really on a
completely different path then you, although they may have
been after similar results. Then create a new idea for
yourself – give yourself permission to experience success on
your own terms, without judging what happens based on other
people or expectations set up by anyone other than yourself.
Once you believe that you deserve to succeed and that you
CAN succeed and that you WILL succeed, your life will
change. Whatever you try will work for you, because YOU
define what "working" is – not somebody else! You set your
own timetable, you are relaxed, and non-judgement. Your
infinite patience and lack of expectation based Externally,
will work with you in very powerful ways and you will regain
control over your destiny.

Finding Peace in Chaos
Written by Jerry on August 15, 2009 – 11:30 pm -Life can be truly hectic, even chaotic, if we don’t stop now and then to take a few minutes for ourselves. With the invention of computers, our work lives were supposed to get easier, but it’s gotten busier than ever before!
The original mentality was that computers would allow us to get the same amount of work done in half the time. That idea went out the window when we realized we could now get twice the work (or more) done in the same time.
Now our world has become so fast paced that it’s hard to keep up. If you don’t stop the pandemonium, you will begin to feel as if your life is descending into a chaotic jumble. Luckily, there are ways to deal with these overwhelming feelings and put some order back into your life.
Here are a few tips on how to find peace in your chaos around:
1. Take a break. Give yourself a chance to take in everything going on around you. Even if your break is a nice hot bath instead of a shower, it can help.
Find a little time here and there to get some peace and quiet while you reflect on the events of the day or on just nothing.
2. Meditate. Meditation can be very helpful in bringing you peace. Meditation doesn’t mean sitting cross legged and chanting like a monk. Instead, it’s a very comfortable and soothing way to calm your mind and bring you the serenity you desire.
With a little practice, anyone can meditate.
Picture yourself on a bridge. Imagine looking down at the water and seeing leaves floating by in the stream. The leaves represent your problems and the chaos around you. Now, without stopping to focus on the leaves, watch them just drift away in the water and disappear forever.
3. Find something positive. No matter how chaotic things get, you can always find something good and positive in your situation.
Actively look for the silver lining. It could be something as simple as a favorite song, a picture, or the smile of another person that gives you some inner peace. Look for these things and you will find them.
As a last resort, if you can’t find something good, ask yourself "If I COULD find something good, what would it be?"
4. Slow down. While we have to multitask almost constantly these days, doing so tends to wear us down even faster. Multi-tasking adds to the chaos around us.
When you can, take one thing at a time and allow yourself to focus on that task alone. While you may be able to handle three or more things at once, the quality won’t be nearly as good as if you focused on them one at a time.
5. Don’t let anyone drag you down. Be wary when considering the opinions of others.
Don’t ignore everyone, but don’t let yourself get bogged down with other people’s baggage and their issues, either.
It’s best to remove your personal chaos causers, even if one of the causes is other people.
6. Throw out the drama. Eliminate the drama in your life, especially other people’s drama. It’s not your concern, so stay out of it and don’t get caught up.
Focus on solving your challenges positively rather than enjoying pity parties. This will reduce the drama and turn your focus to something positive.
Everyone has some chaos their life. It isn’t always a bad thing. Stress can be productive as well. In fact, without stress and responsibilities, some people would never get out of bed!
Life will always have stress and problems, but how you react to them and how much you allow in your life can dictate the level of stress in your life.
The first step is realizing that you NEED to make some time for yourself. If you don’t, nothing else you do will really make that much of a difference. You can’t be there for everyone else if you aren’t taking care of yourself first.
Use these tips every day to bring order to your life, and soon you’ll find peace in your chaos.

Build Your Partners Esteem
Written by Jerry on February 10, 2009 – 12:34 am -Have you ever been in a relationship where things have just stop moving or growing? Or even worse, you both seem to look for flaws in each other? I’ll admit that I have. And it ain’t much fun!
Here’s what I have learned.
As a partner in life, you both have a responsibility to help your partner out. Not just in the mundane tasks of daily life, but also in emotional and psychological matters. This includes helping your partner improve his or her self-esteem.
Okay, I’m tired of this “his or her” stuff already. For the rest of this article I’m going to use the word him or his. The concept applies to both male or female. Can you live with that?
Helping your partner improve his self-esteem is one of the best ways for you to express your love and keep your relationship strong. You’re not only doing your partner a favor when you boost his self-esteem, you are also contributing to the longevity of your relationship.
A healthy self-image or self-esteem is one of the signs of maturity. For a relationship to work out, Read more »
