Attracting Your Million Dollar Idea

Written by Jerry on January 1, 2010 – 1:09 pm -

So many of us struggle day after day.  We are so caught up in the rat-race that we can barely come up for a breath of fresh air.  But, there is hope.  I want to show you how to attract your Million Dollar Idea.

And, yes you DO have one!

We all are here for a reason.  We all have something unique that only we can offer the world.  We are not here to fear, struggle, or suffer.  We are here to live life to the max!  You may disagree but, according to Wallce D. Wattles, you need money to enjoy life to the fullest.

So, let’s discover Your million dollar idea now.

The Old School Way

Make a list of things you know about and traits you have.  You can list things that you have specific knowledge about and things you have general knowledge about but, a keen interest in.  You try to narrow the list down into some things you think are worth money in the market place.

The Easier Way

I want to show you a way that is even simpler, but you must be willing to put in the effort and remain alert for the answer to show up.

Choose a time when you can spend about 30 minutes alone.  Choose a nice quiet place and sit down.  Relax. Close your eyes and breathe deeply and slowly for about 2 or 3 minutes.

Once you are relaxed say out loud, "I have a million dollar idea, right here and right now inside me. I am ready for my million dollar idea to reveal itself to me." Take 3 slow deep breaths and repeat the statement with emotion.  Take 3 more slow deep breaths and repeat it with even more emotion.  Finally, take 3 more deep breaths and whisper the statement aloud.  Relax for a few minutes and then go back to your daily life.

You have put your positive intention out into the universe.  Now become aware of the little details of your life that might reveal your million dollar idea.  Pay attention to conversations.  Pay attention to books or articles you come across.  Pay attention to opportunities to serve others that you may have missed before.  PAY ATTENTION!  Your idea could show up at any time in many different ways.

Keep a little notebook with you to jot down ideas.  Have you heard somebody complaining that they can’t seem to find a particular product or service?  Do you hear people saying things like "I wish I could find a good…."?  You never know what might be a clue.  Look for a pattern based around a certain idea or need that others have, even if you don’t know how you could fill that need yet.

You see, some of the best million dollar ideas may not be cool or trendy stuff.  Millions and millions are made every year with boring stuff like light bulbs, toilet paper, pencils, coat hangers, place mats, staples ect. They are just simply things that other people need or want.

The simplicity of this exercise is deceiving and it’s very powerful! Try this for 30 days and maybe you won’t come up with a million dollar idea but, what if you came up with an idea worth $50,000 or $100,000?  Not a bad way to spend your time, right?

Boosting Self-Esteem With Affirmations

Boosting Self-Esteem With Affirmations

When you consider that low self-esteem is the result of negative messages being absorbed by the subconscious, it makes sense that feeding your mind more positive messages can make a powerful difference!

What stops most people is not being sure of what to say, and how to word affirmations for optimal results.  Below you’ll find some simple tips to help you write effective affirmations for improving your self-esteem.

1) Present tense.  First, it’s helpful to word affirmations in present tense, not the future.  You wouldn’t want to say, “I will learn to love myself” because that makes it sound like you’ll get around to it “someday.”  Instead you could say, “I choose to love myself.”  The wording of that affirmation does two things:  it empowers you with the addition of the words “choose to,” and it puts the timeframe in the present moment.

2) Believable.  At the same time, your affirmations should be believable to you.  If you try to say, “I am a wonderful person with a lot to offer the world,” you may not really believe it, so your subconscious mind might reject it.  Instead, try to focus on a process rather than an end result in your affirmations.  Say something like, “I am learning to embrace my uniqueness and share it confidently with others.” As your confidence builds, your ststements can become more bold.

3) Use the right tone.  When you recite affirmations, you can do so aloud or just mentally, but you should focus heavily on the TONE you use.  Rather than saying the words without emotion like you were reading a newspaper – really inject an element of love and passion into them.  Your subconscious mind picks up on the emotional aspect of what you’re saying more than the actual words.  Imagine the difference between saying the words, “I really love myself” with a tone of love and compassion, or of sarcasm.  Which do you think would have a greater impact on your subconscious mind?

4) Repetition.  Once you’ve got some affirmations formed to work on your self-esteem, try saying them several times a day.  Remember, your subconscious mind is constantly playing back old, negative messages – so you want to counteract those as often as possible.  Keep reciting your more positive thoughts on a regular basis – especially when you catch yourself thinking negatively about yourself.

5) Give it time.  Finally, remember that it will take time to change those old, negative messages in your mind to something more positive.  It may take a few weeks or even months before you’ll notice an obvious difference in how you feel, and you may be tempted to think it isn’t working.  Keep with it, and you will begin to see a difference eventually!  Most likely it will be a gradual change.  Little by little you’ll start feeling more positive, and notice that you’re feeling a bit happier and lighter.  That’s your signal that it’s working!

6) Remember that you can use this formula for anything you want to change for the better in your life.

Start today, with something small and…

This Law of Attraction Crap Doesn’t Work!

Written by Jerry on February 7, 2009 – 6:57 pm -

If you have tried to manifest using the Law of Attraction and failed, you are not alone.  Thousands will give up quickly after making an initial effort that seems to produce no results.  However, there is an excellent reason why the law is not working for you – you’re not doing it right.

Sorry if this seems a little harsh but, the Law of Attraction wouldn’t be a Law if it didn’t work at all times for all people.  You just need to follow the rules.

“What do you mean; I’m not doing it right?”  The Secret” has made great progress in bringing the Law of Attraction to the public awareness, but many people don’t hear the most important part of the message, which really isn’t focused on until the second half of the movie.  Thoughts alone do not manifest.  It’s the energy and emotion generated by thoughts that manifest.  The speed of manifestation is directly related to the power of emotional energy put into your intention.

Equally important is to make sure you don’t sabotage your intention Read more »
