I’m Thinking…But I’m not Growing Rich!

"I’m Thinking…But I’m not Growing Rich!"
Guest Article by Bob Doyle
So you’ve read "Think and Grow Rich", and you’ve got an intellectual understanding that you "become what you think about". You have a list of affirmations about wealth, and you recite them every day.
But you still have no money. Wealth doesn’t seem to be anywhere around.
What’s the deal here? According to Napoleon Hill, you ought to be filthy stinkin’ rich, right?
Well, here’s the real deal: If you’re not "Wealth Conscious", than all this thinking, and all this affirming isn’t going to bring you wealth. Thinking, and affirming are simply actions you’re taking. But they are just PART of the sequence of creating wealth. If you skip the FIRST step, you simply can’t get anywhere.
So what’s the first step?
Being.
To attract wealth, you first have to BE wealthy. THEN, you think wealthy thoughts, speak wealthy affirmations, and take wealthy action.
"But how can I BE wealthy if I’m NOT wealthy?" you ask. Logical question, but it’s based on the false assumption that you don’t have wealth. You HAVE wealth. You’re simply not aware of it. You have constructed a physical reality that prevents you from experiencing Wealth. This can all be explained with the science of Quantum Physics.
So let’s look at some very basic concepts of Quantum Physics that will explain what I’m talking about.
First, you probably are aware – at least on an intellectual level – that at a subatomic level, we, and everything else in the Universe, is Energy. When you break everything down, we’re all made of the same stuff, and we’re all connected. The Universe is just this huge ocean of Energy, vibrating at various frequencies which gives the illusion of individuation. That is, we experience the illusion of separateness from each other, physical objects, and wealth because our "senses" are decoding the Energy around us in such a way as to create our physical reality.
This all happens in our thoughts.
So, to simplify things quickly here for the sake of time (another illusion), "things" only exist because we observe them. It is in our observing that things come into existence. Without our observing, things are simply "waves" – probabilities of existence. Physicists agree on this.
Our beliefs are a very powerful Energy system in our lives. Our beliefs allow or disallow certain experiences in our lives, including wealth. They make up who we are. We "BE" in the world according to our beliefs. If we are being is "someone who is trying to get wealthy by repeating affirmations", then THAT is what our reality will be. We will just be TRYING to get wealthy.
We have to make the decision that we ARE wealthy, contrary to any external physical evidence. That evidence is an illusion based on the belief systems that have guided who we have been being up to that point.
A truly wealthy person isn’t wealthy because they have money. They have money, because they are wealthy! That’s the distinction that most people have backward!
Here’s an example to illustrate what I mean:
Tony Robbins became a millionaire at a very young age. Then, due to a series of poor judgments, he lost it. But within a year, he had it back. How did he do this? HE NEVER LOST HIS WEALTH. He only lost his money, which is just a symbol of wealth! Because he is "Wealth Conscious", he literally "magnetically attracts" wealth into his life. He truly can’t help it! It’s who he is! And there are thousand out there like him, who attract wealth simply because it’s who they are. You can make the same decision and have the same results.
Conversely, a person who has grown up with "lack consciousness" can win millions in the lottery and lose it within a year. Their consciousness – their ENERGY – simply can’t maintain the attraction to Wealth because they aren’t "wealthy" in who they are being.
But again, Wealth is a decision. If you aren’t currently experiencing wealth, you first need to realize that abundance is everywhere…in fact it’s all there is. Poverty and lack are the illusions. You can shift your consciousness to Wealth – BE Wealth – by simply making the decision, THEN your thoughts, speech, and action will allow you to experience the wealth that is yours!
This is indeed a complex subject which challenges our core belief systems. But it is those very belief systems that keep a person in a state of lack.
Look at your financial situation today. Look at your core beliefs about Wealth and You, and see if your life isn’t a PERFECT reflection of your beliefs. Then, look where those beliefs may have originated. When you can awaken to yourself that your beliefs create your reality, rather than the other way around, you have the option to truly be free to experience a reality of prosperity that you deserve!

WAKE UP and Create Something – by Bob Doyle

WAKE UP and Create Something – by Bob Doyle
It’s time for the "mainstream" to WAKE UP. The alarm clock
is ringing, they keep hitting snooze, and in the meantime,
the life they could be living is passing them by.
Day after day, millions of people go through their lives
wishing and hoping and dreaming that things could be better,
with absolutely no knowledge that it is they themselves that
perpetuate their own dissatisfaction.
It is not the "gifted few" who create their realities. It’s
not just for those in the metaphysical community. It is all
of us. Every single one. However, there are a few who have
awakened to this knowledge, and make creating their reality
a daily event…manifesting whatever it is they want in
their life with seemingly no effort!
Meanwhile the rest of the world looks on in wonder and
disbelief. They assume that these "fortunate few" are among
the cosmically lucky.
To be honest, the whole thing generates some anger in me.
The problem is that we are "dumbed down" by society
throughout our whole lives under the pretense that we are
actually being intellectualized. The "scholarly" tell us
that metaphysical topics like reality creation are pure
fantasy. Science insists on measurable evidence of
everything before it will acknowledge such claims as fact.
However, it’s really not that difficult to comprehend. Even
the most skeptical people should be able to grasp a few
simple concepts like: Read more »

How to STOP Being a Person that NOTHING Seems to Work For
Written by Jerry on August 22, 2009 – 12:17 am -Guest article
How to STOP Being a Person that NOTHING Seems to Work For -
by Bob Doyle
Do you ever wonder why great things happen to some people
but not to you?
Do you ever read about people who have tried this or that
product and had some incredible result, but when you try it,
you don’t get the same result?
Have you become a person who NOTHING seems to work for?
Maybe you’ve thought about trying the some new self-
improvement package that sounds great, , but you’re just so
tired of things not working for you.
Let’s take a look at how you’ve gotten where you are and why
these things might happen.
First, at some point, you tried something – either based on
a recommendation, a testimonial you read, or some other
reason. Basically, you tried it based on someone else’s
positive experience. However, when you tried it, you did not
get the same result so you made the assumption that it
didn’t work for you. But how true IS this? Often – VERY
often – things work differently for different people, and
it’s a mistake to judge your life by comparing it with
others. Perhaps you just needed more time. Maybe your
circumstances are completely different! Regardless, however,
you made up – you CREATED a Truth for yourself at that time,
that truth being "This didn’t work", although remember, that
truth is based only on your surface comparison with someone
else…and it really doesn’t have anything to do with you,
and what – in the cosmic scheme of things – is best for you.
Those results you read about for that other person are what
was right at that time for them, and that doesn’t
necessarily mean that NOW is the time for you and that it
will happen to you the same way that it happened for them!
From then on, every thing else you try is then compared to
that first experience, with the Truth in your mind being
"Well, it didn’t work that time…let’s see if THIS works".
So again you’re comparing…and not really trying anything
"purely" and on it’s own merit without preconceived notions
or judgements. You are already working against yourself! You
may not yet automatically expect failure, but you have it as
an option, and perhaps even a probability based on your
previous experiences.
The more things you try with this mindset, the more you
fortify this mindset – it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy
that "Nothing works for me". Before you know it, that is who
you Become. The person you are about reaching your specific
goals or trying this or that product or technology is "It
works for others but never for me." Once you reach that
place, it will most certainly become true for you.
So what do you do? How do you break out of this pattern?
First, acknowledge how you got here…by comparing yourself
or your results with other people who are really on a
completely different path then you, although they may have
been after similar results. Then create a new idea for
yourself – give yourself permission to experience success on
your own terms, without judging what happens based on other
people or expectations set up by anyone other than yourself.
Once you believe that you deserve to succeed and that you
CAN succeed and that you WILL succeed, your life will
change. Whatever you try will work for you, because YOU
define what "working" is – not somebody else! You set your
own timetable, you are relaxed, and non-judgement. Your
infinite patience and lack of expectation based Externally,
will work with you in very powerful ways and you will regain
control over your destiny.

Meditation – A Waste of Time?
Written by Jerry on May 19, 2009 – 7:06 pm -Below is a guest article to provide you another auhtor’s point of view about the debate between meditation versus brainwave entrainment.
Meditation – A Waste of Time? by Gene Anger
Many would say yes, meditation is a waste of time!
Time is one of the few commodities we cannot save or store. Everyone is allotted 24 hours in a day and most of us have busy lifestyles with little time to lose. It would appear spending ½ to one hour sitting perfectly still doing nothing might easily fall into the category of a useless activity devouring precious time.
A Zen practitioner meditates between 6 and 8 hours each day for 20 to 25 years before they permanently balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have 20 to 25 years to become “enlightened.” I can barely squeeze out an extra hour per day, let alone 6 to 8.
Why would anyone even consider meditation?
Well, let’s look at the benefits achieved through regular practice first. Then I will explain how to quickly enter into Zen-like states and meditate like the masters.
First the benefits:
Regular practice actually sharpens the mind so you will achieve more in a shorter time period.
Science has proven the mind/body connection exists. When achieving the Alpha, Theta and Delta brainwave states we actually reduce production of the stress hormone cortisol. Stress is now considered by many to be responsible for upwards of 95% of all human dis-ease.
Allows for the body’s immune system to function efficiently.
Reduces high blood pressure and cholesterol.
You may experience a greater sense of closeness to Source. (God, Infinite Intelligence, etc.)
Most problems experienced by humanity are created while in the Beta or thinking brain state. Therefore we cannot resolve them by staying in Beta; we need to go into deeper brainwave patterns.
Meditation quiets the “noise” or constant self-talk in the mind; allowing for us to receive answers to problems, questions or situations.
Meditation creates new neural pathways between the left and right hemispheres, balancing the brain. Through this process fear, phobias, anxiety and worry begin to dissipate.
Reduces chronic pain.
Increased longevity.
An overall sense of well-being and harmony with everyone and everything.
Now let’s face it; that’s quite a shopping list with compelling reasons why we should meditate. Unfortunately many are unwilling to trade time for the benefits. However if you do make the time, ultimately you develop laser sharp focus with even greater performance levels. In the end, you accomplish a great deal more in much less time.
Quickly Entering Into Zen-Like States
Okay, now that we know why meditation is beneficial, let’s look at how we can quicken the process to enjoy these fantastic benefits immediately instead of 25 years from now.
One of the first techniques I used was sound technology employing binaural beats which have been proven to balance the left and right hemispheres. The results are immediate. Within a few minutes of putting on the headphones your left and right hemispheres are balanced in a Zen-like state.
Basically you can meditate for 1 hour each day instead of 6 to 8. You also achieve the same results in much fewer than 20 to 25 years. Within weeks of using binaural beat technology I began experiencing profound shifts in my thinking, attitude and many would even say my appearance. I practiced daily for approximately two and a half years.
Then I began using monaural and isochronic tones which experts claim are about 900 times more effect than binaural beats for brainwave entrainment. I am particularly excited about the isochronic sound waves as I find they help me to easily cope with day to day stress. I especially like the positive changes I experience listening to the stronger of the two – isochronic.
So there you have it. Now you know why meditation is not a waste of time. You also have a few options to research if you decide to enjoy the benefits of meditation without wasting valuable time.

How to Zone Out in the Dental Chair
Written by Jerry on May 14, 2009 – 7:00 pm -Guest Article
And so the therapy began.
My next appointment was the following week for more root canal and the week after that also. Not only that my newly filled tooth was now even more painful than before so more work on my filling ensued (as well as more root canal). To cut a long story short I then chose to have a crown in place of a filling that may, or not, have lasted very long.
By now I was helping myself to their filtered coffee and newspaper on arrival.
So today, as I again sat in the dental chair I was prepared. I made sure I was sufficiently relaxed, centred and in the present moment before I turned up.
What did I do? I meditated before my appointment and then meditated through my appointment!
As the shrill piercing sound of the drill reverberated through my head and my face sprayed with water, I simply drifted away to somewhere else – somewhere peaceful. The dentist and the assistant continually asked me if I was okay – I’d slowly nod then zone out again, drifting away and closing the door to the sounds and movements of where my physical body was.
And then it was all over!
The next time you visit your dentist, it really pays to zone out during your procedure (if possible even before you get there) – especially if you’re nervous about any dental procedure at all like I am.
7 Steps to help you Zone out
1. Get a meditation session in before you arrive for your appointment. If you’re not sure how to meditate, do some slow, deep breathing exercises. I generally take around 4 to 5 slow deep breaths, focusing on the outward breath.
2. Be in the present moment. This is when you’re not thinking anything about the future – even 3 minutes into the future! Nor are you thinking about the past – not even 3 minutes ago. The present moment is now whilst you’re sitting in the dental chair, staring at the ceiling becoming aware of and concentrating on the rhythm of your breathing.
3. Once the procedure starts close your eyes and take your mind within. Focus straight ahead – wherever you perceive straight ahead to be once you have your eyes closed – and think of nothing – just blank – the void – staring at the colours and patterns you can see as you sit in the chair with your eyes closed.
4. If you’re about to receive an injection – as the needle goes in, breathe into that area and continue to concentrate fully on your slow breathing until the injection is over.
5. Once that’s over, resume staring into the blank void that is the inside of your eyelids!
6. If you find it challenging to think nothing, focus on a visual image that makes you feel really, really good about yourself then have a look around and see where you are.
7. Whenever you sense you’re starting to again focus on the drilling or whatever else is happening in your mouth, breathe in slowly and deeply focusing on the rhythm of your breathing and allow every single muscle you become aware of, to deflate and relax.
Meditation is a great ‘self help’ tool and when applied during a visit to your dentist – it makes the experience if not enjoyable, at least bearable!
