I’m Thinking…But I’m not Growing Rich!

"I’m Thinking…But I’m not Growing Rich!"
Guest Article by Bob Doyle
So you’ve read "Think and Grow Rich", and you’ve got an intellectual understanding that you "become what you think about". You have a list of affirmations about wealth, and you recite them every day.
But you still have no money. Wealth doesn’t seem to be anywhere around.
What’s the deal here? According to Napoleon Hill, you ought to be filthy stinkin’ rich, right?
Well, here’s the real deal: If you’re not "Wealth Conscious", than all this thinking, and all this affirming isn’t going to bring you wealth. Thinking, and affirming are simply actions you’re taking. But they are just PART of the sequence of creating wealth. If you skip the FIRST step, you simply can’t get anywhere.
So what’s the first step?
Being.
To attract wealth, you first have to BE wealthy. THEN, you think wealthy thoughts, speak wealthy affirmations, and take wealthy action.
"But how can I BE wealthy if I’m NOT wealthy?" you ask. Logical question, but it’s based on the false assumption that you don’t have wealth. You HAVE wealth. You’re simply not aware of it. You have constructed a physical reality that prevents you from experiencing Wealth. This can all be explained with the science of Quantum Physics.
So let’s look at some very basic concepts of Quantum Physics that will explain what I’m talking about.
First, you probably are aware – at least on an intellectual level – that at a subatomic level, we, and everything else in the Universe, is Energy. When you break everything down, we’re all made of the same stuff, and we’re all connected. The Universe is just this huge ocean of Energy, vibrating at various frequencies which gives the illusion of individuation. That is, we experience the illusion of separateness from each other, physical objects, and wealth because our "senses" are decoding the Energy around us in such a way as to create our physical reality.
This all happens in our thoughts.
So, to simplify things quickly here for the sake of time (another illusion), "things" only exist because we observe them. It is in our observing that things come into existence. Without our observing, things are simply "waves" – probabilities of existence. Physicists agree on this.
Our beliefs are a very powerful Energy system in our lives. Our beliefs allow or disallow certain experiences in our lives, including wealth. They make up who we are. We "BE" in the world according to our beliefs. If we are being is "someone who is trying to get wealthy by repeating affirmations", then THAT is what our reality will be. We will just be TRYING to get wealthy.
We have to make the decision that we ARE wealthy, contrary to any external physical evidence. That evidence is an illusion based on the belief systems that have guided who we have been being up to that point.
A truly wealthy person isn’t wealthy because they have money. They have money, because they are wealthy! That’s the distinction that most people have backward!
Here’s an example to illustrate what I mean:
Tony Robbins became a millionaire at a very young age. Then, due to a series of poor judgments, he lost it. But within a year, he had it back. How did he do this? HE NEVER LOST HIS WEALTH. He only lost his money, which is just a symbol of wealth! Because he is "Wealth Conscious", he literally "magnetically attracts" wealth into his life. He truly can’t help it! It’s who he is! And there are thousand out there like him, who attract wealth simply because it’s who they are. You can make the same decision and have the same results.
Conversely, a person who has grown up with "lack consciousness" can win millions in the lottery and lose it within a year. Their consciousness – their ENERGY – simply can’t maintain the attraction to Wealth because they aren’t "wealthy" in who they are being.
But again, Wealth is a decision. If you aren’t currently experiencing wealth, you first need to realize that abundance is everywhere…in fact it’s all there is. Poverty and lack are the illusions. You can shift your consciousness to Wealth – BE Wealth – by simply making the decision, THEN your thoughts, speech, and action will allow you to experience the wealth that is yours!
This is indeed a complex subject which challenges our core belief systems. But it is those very belief systems that keep a person in a state of lack.
Look at your financial situation today. Look at your core beliefs about Wealth and You, and see if your life isn’t a PERFECT reflection of your beliefs. Then, look where those beliefs may have originated. When you can awaken to yourself that your beliefs create your reality, rather than the other way around, you have the option to truly be free to experience a reality of prosperity that you deserve!

How to STOP Being a Person that NOTHING Seems to Work For
Written by Jerry on August 22, 2009 – 12:17 am -Guest article
How to STOP Being a Person that NOTHING Seems to Work For -
by Bob Doyle
Do you ever wonder why great things happen to some people
but not to you?
Do you ever read about people who have tried this or that
product and had some incredible result, but when you try it,
you don’t get the same result?
Have you become a person who NOTHING seems to work for?
Maybe you’ve thought about trying the some new self-
improvement package that sounds great, , but you’re just so
tired of things not working for you.
Let’s take a look at how you’ve gotten where you are and why
these things might happen.
First, at some point, you tried something – either based on
a recommendation, a testimonial you read, or some other
reason. Basically, you tried it based on someone else’s
positive experience. However, when you tried it, you did not
get the same result so you made the assumption that it
didn’t work for you. But how true IS this? Often – VERY
often – things work differently for different people, and
it’s a mistake to judge your life by comparing it with
others. Perhaps you just needed more time. Maybe your
circumstances are completely different! Regardless, however,
you made up – you CREATED a Truth for yourself at that time,
that truth being "This didn’t work", although remember, that
truth is based only on your surface comparison with someone
else…and it really doesn’t have anything to do with you,
and what – in the cosmic scheme of things – is best for you.
Those results you read about for that other person are what
was right at that time for them, and that doesn’t
necessarily mean that NOW is the time for you and that it
will happen to you the same way that it happened for them!
From then on, every thing else you try is then compared to
that first experience, with the Truth in your mind being
"Well, it didn’t work that time…let’s see if THIS works".
So again you’re comparing…and not really trying anything
"purely" and on it’s own merit without preconceived notions
or judgements. You are already working against yourself! You
may not yet automatically expect failure, but you have it as
an option, and perhaps even a probability based on your
previous experiences.
The more things you try with this mindset, the more you
fortify this mindset – it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy
that "Nothing works for me". Before you know it, that is who
you Become. The person you are about reaching your specific
goals or trying this or that product or technology is "It
works for others but never for me." Once you reach that
place, it will most certainly become true for you.
So what do you do? How do you break out of this pattern?
First, acknowledge how you got here…by comparing yourself
or your results with other people who are really on a
completely different path then you, although they may have
been after similar results. Then create a new idea for
yourself – give yourself permission to experience success on
your own terms, without judging what happens based on other
people or expectations set up by anyone other than yourself.
Once you believe that you deserve to succeed and that you
CAN succeed and that you WILL succeed, your life will
change. Whatever you try will work for you, because YOU
define what "working" is – not somebody else! You set your
own timetable, you are relaxed, and non-judgement. Your
infinite patience and lack of expectation based Externally,
will work with you in very powerful ways and you will regain
control over your destiny.

No More Sitting On The Floor – Meditation Chairs
Written by Jerry on August 20, 2009 – 8:17 pm -One of the most challenging things when meditating is finding the right sitting position. This is because your legs can become numb after some time and is why, some people still prefer to use meditation chairs instead.

When you look at a meditation chair, the first thing you will notice is that this does not look all that different to a dining chair. It has 4 legs and a back rest. However, what it does best is make you more comfortable than when you are sitting on the floor by being able to mold to your body which prevents cramps and provides complete relaxation.
The material that makes this possible is called buckwheat hull. Because it conforms to your shape, it provides a firmer seat. It’s also able to do this because of the ergonomic design which prevents the user from slouching during the most intense moments of meditation as it is angled slightly forward.
A good example of a meditating chair is the Seagrass. This was designed by a meditation practitioner who felt that it was very difficult to meditate while sitting in a lotus position. This chair allows you to cross the ankles or the feet or pull them up if you are tired of having them rest on the floor. It also provides proper spine support so you will never experience any back pain after the session.
The Chinese meditation chair is perhaps the oldest since it has been around for centuries. It didn’t have ergonomic features like the ones we have now but it has a very wide base so that the user has sufficienroom to also cross their legs. It also did not have any cushioning but you can easily fix that.
Another example is the Meditation Bench that is also known as the kneeling chair. The beauty of this meditation bench is that it does not put any pressure on the knees and this can also be used as a study table because you can easily read a book when you put a cushion on the floor.
There are other meditation chairs available and they come in all shapes and sizes. One option for those that want something bigger is the staionary meditation bench. Because of the larger area, those of you who still prefer the lotus position can do so without putting pressure on the legs. Something similar to that is called the cane chair for meditation.

When choosing the right seat, you should always consider your height, size and comfort level. Don’t forget support for the back because this also helps improve your posture.
The nice thing about most meditation chairs is that they are light and portable. It can easily be stored in the closet when you are done and the designs that most retailers have can easily compliment your furnishing if you want to leave it out.
The meditation chair is designed to make you feel comfortable during the 15 or 20 minutes when you are practicing. If you are serious about improving your health or combating stress, then investing in one of these is a good place to start.

Benefits Of Meditation You May Not Know About
Written by Jerry on August 13, 2009 – 8:15 pm -Many people are now going back to ancient practices like yoga, tai chi and meditation because we are starting to understand that modern times have been causing them too much stress.
More and more people are looking forward to experiencing the benefits of meditation.
Because of its unparalleled ability to calm the mind and developing your level of intuition, meditation is now being used not just a means of clearing the mind and inner reflection but also to heal illnesses both mental and physical.
One of the most highly publicized benefits of meditation is that it helps you become healthier. One of the key physical benefits of meditation involves the heart. Because it decreases your metabolic rate, as well as the heart rate, meditation leads to the reduction of workload for the heart.
Mediation has also been discovered to lower the levels of your cortisol as well as dissolving chemicals that are closely associated with everyday stress.
Other physical benefits of meditation also include:
- reduced free radicals in your body by eliminating oxygen molecules that are unstable
- decrease high blood pressure
- develops more resistant skin
- lowering your level of cholesterol
- improve air flow to the lungs
- delays biological aging
- increases the levels of DHEA in older people
Can you think of a good reason not to practice?
When it comes to mental factors, meditation aids in:
- increasing the your brain wave coherence
- decreasing anxiety levels and deep-set depression
- decreases mood swings
- improves the your memory, as well as your learning ability
- increases your ability for self-actualization
- increases the your feeling of youthfulness and vitality
- leads to positive outlook
- increases your emotional status and stability
Once again, can you think of a reason not to practice?
Meditation helps you gain and maintain the levels of energy to face the heavy challenges and stress in our hectic world, it helps create a relaxed family life and gives a more positive outlook to younger people.
When a person discovers his or her inner self, this in turn releases their fortitude and helps people to free themselves from addictions such as alcohol and cigarettes as well as the need for various medications such as anti-deprssants and narcotics.
It also helps a person to gain self-confidence, resulting to stronger willpower and can be an effective and safe way of discovering and nurturing your true self.
Are you ready to sign up yet?
Seriously, if you don’t have a meditation practice yet, you need to start one. And if you already practice – spread the word. Even though meditation is becoming more mainstream, some people still think it’s for hippies and new agers. Help them out.
