Another 7 Useful Tips – Self Esteem Help and Self Esteem Exercises

Written by Connor V. James on April 18, 2009 – 7:05 am -

Accurate self esteem help information is not always easy to find on the Internet.

It always fascinates me that you can always find something new about a topic if you look hard enough, and these 7 tips are useful reminders – especially where Self Esteem Exercises is concerned. I hope that you find them both useful and interesting.

I certainly found it fun trying to track all that Self Esteem Help research down!

Have trust in other people. Although it may seem difficult and risky to give trust to just any people, when you believe in them or confident on what they are doing for you, doubts and negative judgments on them will be unnecessary. Also, it will bring harmonious relationships between you and your colleagues.

Be open. We have to accept the fact that we don’t know everything. And that we are continuously learning in every place we go, with every people we meet as everyday passes. We should not close our minds to new ideas and information that comes our way. Our mind is so spacious that it is impossible to fill it up completely. Thus, we should accept worthy things that may help us become better and brighter persons.

Be realistic.  Make sure that what you want is something possible. Hoping for something to happen which would never really materialize in real life will only bring you disappointment. For instance, you wish to lose weight. Therefore, you have to set a goal and act on appropriate measures within a period of time to achieve what you wish. Hey, No one can get slimmer overnight. *

Forgive and forget. Mistakes and failures are the root causes of negative thinking. If we somehow learn to let go of all the pain, agony, and fear we try to keep inside our hearts and minds, then there will be nothing more to block our clear thoughts from being expressed.  Forgive yourself for committing mistakes and forget these mistakes.

Count your blessings. Focus on what you have rather than what you don’t have. Absence of our desires will only bring discontentment and disappointment that will only waste our time. Instead, be thankful and appreciative with all the blessings we receive.

Treat yourself right. Be a friend, a good listener, a giver, not a taker – we feel the best about ourselves when we make someone else smile. Give thanks to your creator. Be humble in all you have.

Pray for those with cold hearts or sad lives.

Hope you found these 7 tips useful, as it’s not always easy to track accurate information down! The Internet is full of information about Self Esteem Help, but it’s not always easy to find stuff that’s actual useful – especially where Self Esteem Exercises is concerned.

I hope that these tips have been.

Simple Walking Meditation

Written by Jerry on April 2, 2009 – 6:17 pm -

Meditation exercises are potent ways of reducing stress and teaching your body and mind to relax. Not only that, these exercises can also help build self-assurance and self-esteem. And most importantly, just like any other exercise, it can help you maintain your good health as well as keeping your attitude  in great shape.

There are numerous types of meditation exercises that you can do. They all vary in their ability to make you feel relaxed and relieve you of stress. One that you can try out is the walking meditation. It is a form of meditation that monks do as a habit in monasteries. What they do is walk the on a quiet area for a time while contemplating or meditating on something. It is so easy that you can do it too.

In doing the walking meditation, what you need to do is find yourself a set smooth path. It can be a circular track, a sports field, or even a large garden good adequate for walking on. Start by walking the path  to get to know the route. Once you have gotten used to it, begin taking in a slow deep breath  and then let it out slowly. As you do this, try to be conscious of your body. Feel or sense your entire body and be aware every single part, as well. The key is to be aware of all of your body parts but, sense them as one entity. Walk slowly. As you are walking try to mentally be aware of how your body is functioning as it moves and how your feet aer landing. Do not try to pick apart every function or movement. Just try to be aware of how your body moves or works as it walks.

At first it might seem silly to you. But just like any other form of meditation, it is not something that you should hurry. You need to get comfortable with it. Sometimes distractions may come and they typically do.

It is normal, especially during the first few days, that a thought comes into your head like: "This is silly" or, "I have to do the dishes". When they do, just try to allow them to gently go away, and continue on with your walking. You can start with 10 or 15 minutes and then get on with your daily activities and try to carry the awareness into your daily routines.

Because we’re all a little different, you may need to be exposed to a number of meditation exercises before you find just the right one for you.  We’ll be talking about more in the future.

Build Your Partners Esteem

Written by Jerry on February 10, 2009 – 12:34 am -

Have you ever been in a relationship where things have just stop moving or growing?  Or even worse, you both seem to look for flaws in each other?  I’ll admit that I have. And it ain’t much fun!

Here’s what I have learned.

As a partner in life, you both have a responsibility to help your partner out. Not just in the mundane tasks of daily life, but also in emotional and psychological matters. This includes helping your partner improve his or her self-esteem.

Okay, I’m tired of this “his or her” stuff already.  For the rest of this article I’m going to use the word him or his.  The concept applies to both male or female. Can you live with that?

Helping your partner improve his self-esteem is one of the best ways for you to express your love and keep your relationship strong. You’re not only doing your partner a favor when you boost his self-esteem, you are also contributing to the longevity of your relationship.

A healthy self-image or self-esteem is one of the signs of maturity. For a relationship to work out, Read more »
